About the Role:

The Pumps Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the Bournemouth depot by maximizing hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

This will involve delivering sales presentations to senior management levels and attending depot/customer trade days to promote the product offering.

The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders across the GAP Group network, including Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams, to ensure proactive promotion of hire opportunities for Pump & Power equipment within their existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers
  • Win new business through sales presentations and trade days
  • Work with stakeholders to promote hire opportunities for Pump & Power equipment
  • Deliver sales presentations to senior management levels
  • Attend depot/customer trade days to promote product offering

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the construction/hire industry
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective negotiator and problem solver with ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
