Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Assessor and Estimator to join our team. As a Fire Door Assessor and Estimator, you will be responsible for inspecting fire doors and compartmentation within residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect fire doors and compartmentation: Identify points for correction and write advisory actions for joiners to fire stoppers to carry out.
- Manage appointments: Work alongside your team of project coordinators to manage appointments and provide technical advice for the project delivery team.
- Post-work inspections and sign-offs: Conduct post-work inspections and sign off completed works.
- Assist operations manager: Provide support to the operations manager as needed.
- Procurement of materials and equipment: Procure materials and equipment to carry out works.
- Completion of work sheets and quotes: Complete work sheets and quotes via our mobile app.
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge: Good technical knowledge of fire doors and compartmentation/fire stopping.
- Experience: 5 years' experience minimum within the fire door industry.
- Qualifications: NVQ or equivalent in carpentry or FDIS or equivalent in fire doors.
- Skills: Good diary and organisation skills, ability to liaise and report to clients and tenants, and previous experience in maintenance and building environments.
- Qualifications (desired): FDIS Qualifications.
