About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our Yorkshire and Humberside Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on a range of building surveying and project management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake surveys and project manage schemes to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Provide contract administration, employer's agent, project monitoring, specification writing, condition surveys, fire safety consultancy, neighbourly matters, and dilapidations services
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver complex projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, prioritizing workloads and delivering deadlines
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying
  • Collaborative leadership skills and experience
  • Technical delivery experience
  • MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Excellent specification writing skills
  • Detailed understanding of JCT Contracts
  • Project Management exposure of projects from inception to completion
  • Experience working with key stakeholders
  • Client-facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
  • Able to build long-term relationships
  • Experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritizing workloads and delivering deadlines
