Job Title: Special Educational Needs Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Really NEET Project is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of learners with EHCPs aged 16-25 years
- Act as the main point of contact for staff and services with SEND related queries
- Arrange and carry out Annual Reviews and PEPs, as well as completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
- Assist the Change Leader with the transition process for learners starting at Really NEET and those leaving Really NEET
- Oversee the progression of learners on completion of the course
- Promote Inclusion best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the college
Requirements:
- Passion for making a difference to the lives of young people
- Experience working with learners with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- DBS Enhanced Clearance check
