We are seeking a highly skilled Land and Site Buyer to join our team at Bond Williams Limited. As a key member of our property development team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing prime land and sites for residential development.
Key Responsibilities- Land Acquisition: Identify and secure land for residential development, working closely with our clients' property and finance teams.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to inform our development strategy.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough feasibility studies to assess project viability, taking into account environmental assessments, zoning approvals, and title searches.
- Negotiation: Secure the best deals on land and site purchases, leveraging your strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Due Diligence: Oversee all due diligence activities, ensuring that our clients receive a thorough and accurate assessment of the land and site.
- Proven experience in the property sector, with a strong understanding of property development, estate agency, sales and lettings, caravan/residential park home/leisure sectors.
- Associate or chartered member of RICS or similar is beneficial but not essential.
- High energy, can-do attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Southwest/South Central UK.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of planning legislation and development processes.
- Ability to conduct market research and feasibility assessments.
