We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our Electronics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems and components for our Formula One team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic harnesses, enclosures, and installations for our cars.
  • Produce technical and assembly drawings for mechanical, composite, and electronic components.
  • Ensure that all electronic designs meet specifications and regulations.
  • Liaise with other design groups to ensure effective integration of electrical installation requirements.
  • Support manufacturing processes with the electronics workshop.
  • Maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and stay up-to-date with harness design practices and associated software packages.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification with experience in electronics.
  • Experience designing wiring harnesses, electronic components, and installations preferably in motorsport.
  • Experience using industry standard CAD software packages, preferably CATIA 3DX.
  • Experience designing electronic components, PCBs, and sensors.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work to demanding schedule and thrive under pressure.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
