Job Title: IT Configuration Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Configuration Engineer to join our team. As an IT Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining the strategic vision for the Architecture of the SSNA Programme, providing key interface between functional capability delivery, and ensuring SSNA programme requirements are aligned and fed in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining strategic vision for the Architecture of the SSNA Programme
  • Provide key interface between functional capability delivery to develop and optimize (People / Process / Tools)
  • Ensure SSNA programme requirements are aligned and fed in
  • Input and advise the SSNA Programme Architecture Authority Forum
  • Work closely with SSNA and IM&T Solution Architects, and business analysts, to ensure IM&T input and output data is correct meets the needs of the Engineering life cycle
  • Support IM&T Project methodologies and approach (i.e. NXGenDigital and SSNA systems)
  • Maintain overview of wider business system improvements

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of design toolset / CAD / PLM / Teamcenter / NX
  • Background in data management principals including creating data structures and support capabilities, developing data models
  • Good understanding of the whole Engineering Lifecycle

Desirable:

  • Experience of the engineering manufacturing industry
  • Degree level qualifications or extensive subs knowledge
