We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Yard Operative to join our team at Class 1 Personnel. As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, including inspecting, picking, and loading materials onto vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and load materials onto vehicles
- Ensure all equipment is sorted, serviced, and stored neatly
- Perform equipment repairs and fabrication
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- Previous construction experience or labouring experience
- Forklift licence (training available with progression)
- Knowledge and experience of using power tools
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong team-player with problem-solving skills
