About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy Services. As a Heating Engineer, you will play a crucial role in installing low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to install low carbon technology in customers' homes, ensuring a high-quality experience for our customers.
  • Use your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver exceptional results.
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps, ensuring they are installed correctly and safely.
  • Continuously learn about new technologies at our innovative R&D training centre, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
Requirements
  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or proven experience in the installation of boilers.
  • Experience in the installation of boilers, with a plus if you have knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

  • £38,000 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £45,000 on-target earnings.
