Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts and provide guidance to junior staff members
  • Support the Registered Manager with recruitment, supervision, meetings, and inspections
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote the well-being and independence of our residents
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident progress and development

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and resilience in working with vulnerable young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A driving license and ability to drive our residents to appointments and activities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and on-call duties
  • A qualification in residential childcare or a willingness to pursue one within the first two years of employment
