About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Strategist to join our Data Office capability at Cognitive Group | Part of the Focus Cloud Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a robust data governance framework, processes, and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Oversee the design and embedding of data governance controls and forums to promote data risk management and best practices.
  • Advocate for improved data quality assurance approaches and drive the implementation of data quality initiatives.
  • Manage and empower other parties in the Data Office to play their role in governance, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Support the operation of governance forums and ensure that data governance standards are communicated and adhered to across the organization.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data governance issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in managing and implementing data governance frameworks and standards.
