Temporary Educator

Are you a qualified and experienced educator seeking a new opportunity?

We are actively looking for Temporary Educators for both primary and secondary educational institutions in the Chelmsley Wood and Smiths Wood regions. Candidates must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We offer a variety of assignments ranging from day-to-day engagements to short and long-term positions.

Role Overview

  • Designing, grading, and evaluating lessons
  • Creating and enhancing lesson plans, curricula, and instructional materials
  • Providing constructive feedback to students regarding their progress
  • Overseeing classroom conduct
  • Assisting with personal care as needed
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements
  • Inspiring, motivating, and encouraging students to complete assigned tasks
  • Ensuring all students remain engaged and on track to achieve their learning objectives
  • Addressing students' physical, mental, and emotional well-being

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an educational environment supporting learners.
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Capability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for working with minors
  • Current Safeguarding Training (Candidates can complete a complimentary course with U-educate if they lack a safeguarding certificate issued within the last year)
