Role: Drama Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our network of talented educators. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by nurturing their creativity, confidence, and communication skills through the performing arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Inspire students with your enthusiasm for theatre, performance, and the arts, encouraging their participation and exploration of diverse theatrical concepts.
  • Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their individual growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community through departmental planning, extracurricular activities, and school productions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level, including preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and structured learning environment.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents.
