About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Special Collections and Archives team as Curator of the Goldsmiths Textile Collection.
As Curator, you will be responsible for the management, care, and accessibility of the Goldsmiths Textile Collection, including supporting researchers, collections management, and the planning and delivery of student, staff, and public exhibitions and events in the Constance Howard Gallery.
You will work closely with the Special Collections & Archives Manager to achieve the team's goals and objectives, and will be expected to take initiative and self-direct in your work.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in a relevant subject, a professional qualification in museum or heritage studies, and experience of delivering workshops and exhibitions.
They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
