Position Overview

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking dedicated delivery professionals to join our dynamic team as part of a two-person delivery operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  2. Provide exceptional service to customers, representing our brand with professionalism and courtesy.
  3. Adhere to all transport regulations and company policies, including pre- and post-delivery checks.
  4. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
  5. Conduct risk assessments prior to deliveries to ensure safety and compliance.
  6. Utilize appropriate protective gear when entering customer premises.
  7. Deliver products to the designated area within the customer's home, ensuring care and respect for their property.
  8. Assist with the installation of products as trained, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage the collection of old products for recycling, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  10. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
  11. Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper loading and handling of products.

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driving license (Category 1)
  • Current driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • Experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles in a commercial setting
  • Background in customer service roles

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with additional pay for overtime and weekend work.
