Job Title: AWS DevOps Contract

Methods Business and Digital Technology is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps professional to join our team. As a DevOps engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, including AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  2. Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  4. Implement security controls and compliance measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data.
  5. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
  6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that all team members have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure and operations.
  8. Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and vendors.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for critical issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  11. Contribute to the development of our cloud strategy, working closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and security.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Experience with automated deployment pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of security controls, compliance measures, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with cloud migration, cloud security, and cloud operations.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, features, and best practices.
  • Experience with technical documentation, including writing, editing, and maintaining documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
