About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Manager to join our team at SearchTech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new land opportunities, negotiating with stakeholders, and managing land lease agreements to deliver successful renewable projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sites for renewable energy projects, from initial assessment to option and lease agreements
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and other key parties
  • Conduct negotiations to secure land lease agreements and ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage land lease agreements, documentation, and other related tasks
  • Pursue new business opportunities to their maximum potential, ensuring alignment with company strategies
  • Develop and implement business practices to drive project success
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong understanding of land acquisition processes, including DCO, compulsory purchase, and national grid
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage workload
  • Flexible and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take ownership and use initiative
