Salary: £45 - £50K (inc 1 hour/day travel) van fuelcard overtime, 23 days annual leave (rising to 26 by 1 day/year)

Job Information:

  • As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.
  • You will be responsible for carrying out PPM Schedules and meeting set KPI Targets covering commercial sites including restaurants, car showrooms, offices, care homes, and other commercial sites.
  • You will work on a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying (1 in 6).
  • There will be plenty of overtime available, as well as future prospects and progression.
  • You will have 23 days annual leave.
  • You will work on a 1 in 5 call-out rota (min or either 4 hours or 8 hours paid at overtime rates).

Candidate Information:

  • You will need to have recognised industry qualifications, including gas safe/ACS commercial gas.
  • You will need to have good customer service skills, be well-presented, and articulate.
  • You will need to have the ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances.
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts previously would be advantageous.
  • You will need to be motivated and trustworthy.
