Key Responsibilities

As a Site Operations Coordinator, you will be essential to the effective functioning of our practice. Your main duties will include:

Assisting Daily Operations: Collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure all daily activities are carried out smoothly and effectively. Supervising Administrative Staff: Manage the administrative team, ensuring they receive adequate training and support. Enhancing Patient Services: Work with clinical staff to improve patient care and service delivery. Overseeing Financial Performance: Aid in managing the practice's financial health by monitoring various performance indicators and service submissions. Coordinating Staff Schedules: Ensure that staff schedules are well-organized to meet the practice's requirements and maintain sufficient coverage. Engaging with Stakeholders: Foster strong communication with patients, practice personnel, external professionals, and suppliers to create a collaborative environment. Implementing Efficient Processes: Develop and execute effective processes to meet targets and enhance practice operations.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

Relevant management or healthcare administration qualification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong IT skills, including proficiency in clinical software and office applications

Advanced certifications or additional training in healthcare management

Experience

Essential:

Proven experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within primary care Demonstrated ability to manage administrative staff and coordinate schedules Experience with Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), Enhanced Services, and Locally Commissioned Services (LCS) Familiarity with financial management in a healthcare context Previous involvement in the implementation and optimization of healthcare processes Experience with patient care and service improvement initiatives

Desirable:

Knowledge of Emis Workflow Management Experience in training and developing staff Understanding of information governance and data protection principles Experience with handling patient feedback and conducting audits
