About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of special needs students. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work one-on-one with students to help them develop their communication, social, and life skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in various classes, including swimming, music, art, and sports
  • Work closely with therapy teams, such as speech therapists and animal-assisted therapy
  • Help students learn life skills and develop friendships
  • Assist in fun classes like music, art, sports, and cooking
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs
Requirements
  • Passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and a positive attitude
  • Ability to encourage students to engage with learning and each other
  • Commitment to the role until at least January 2025
