YHA Ambleside is a unique and welcoming hostel that offers a distinctive workplace experience. As a Hospitality Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm hospitality and great customer service to all our customers, members, and guests.
  • Work on reception and offer insights about the hostel and the local area, ensuring every guest feels informed and welcomed.
  • Utilize our systems for efficient guest check-ins and check-outs, food and beverage sales, and service.
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for all guests.
  • Assist in the preparation of food in the kitchen and serve food and drinks with genuine warmth, hospitality, and pride.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: £11.44 per hour (flexible, 5-30 hours per week, temporary contract)
  • Accommodation options: live-in accommodation available at a reasonable rate of £63.70 per week (if needed)
