About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level Designer to join our team at Playground Games. As a key member of our Forza Horizon Level Design team, you will be responsible for creating large sections of our game worlds, designing genre-leading events, and implementing key gameplay features.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, own, and maintain multiple areas of our game world
- Work collaboratively with a highly motivated and talented cross-discipline team
- Utilize our custom, proprietary engine and tools to build innovative gameplay experiences
Requirements
- At least one shipped title in a Level Design role
- Experience with multiple software packages, such as 3DS Max, Mudbox, and Photoshop (or equivalents)
- Ability to create a whitebox environment and develop it through to shippable quality
- Ideal experience in building AAA open-world environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A genuine passion for games
