Clinical Deputy Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at a lovely nursing home in the Chertsey area. This is a unique opportunity to work in a family-run provider with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all clinical aspects of care within the home, ensuring effective induction of staff and clinical supervision of trained staff.
  • Mentorship and assessment of student nurses and induction of new care staff.
  • Work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards.
  • Provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current NMC PIN.
  • RGN or RMN with some elderly Nursing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
  • Proven experience at supervisory level within a Nursing Home, having previously worked as a Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager, or Clinical Lead.
