The Priory Hospital Woking is dedicated to providing exceptional private acute mental health and addiction services, catering to both inpatient and outpatient needs. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to fulfill the role of Ward Clerk, offering essential administrative support to our ward teams and senior healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure meticulous maintenance of patient files and documentation, adhering to accurate record-keeping practices.
- Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with relevant data protection regulations and organizational policies.
- Prepare comprehensive admission packs for incoming patients.
- Document information in alignment with record-keeping and information governance standards.
- Utilize Patient Information Systems to update patient records as necessary.
- Retrieve patient records from external healthcare facilities when required.
- Provide assistance in various clinical areas of the hospital as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with hospital departments, patients, families, and medical personnel.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring precise record-keeping and thoroughness in all tasks.
