Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Blossom Fields. As a key member of our activities team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activities programme that promotes social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to source materials and resources for activities.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of activities.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and staff to promote activities and encourage participation.

Requirements

  • At least two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of working in a care or community setting.
