Job Title: Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team at Dept. of Recruitment Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. They will also support team members in various vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities, ensuring quality and a first-time fix.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards
  • Support team members in vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities
  • Ensure quality and a first-time fix
  • Complete vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress
  • Develop skills and knowledge via regular training
  • Maintain a clean and safe work bay
  • Follow all necessary safety regulations

Requirements:

Candidates will hold a Level 2 IMI/C&G qualification as a minimum, and ideally additional manufacturer training and experience. They will also possess strong verbal communication skills and be a team player with a positive attitude.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with 42.5 hours per week. This is a permanent position, and a full CV will be required.
