Job Summary:

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class One Driver to join our team as a Tramper Driver - Commercial Vehicle Transporter. This is a tramping role that involves transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK, using the latest generation of transporter equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK, using the latest generation of transporter equipment.
  • Loading and securing products for transport.
  • Completing inspection and delivery documentation.

Requirements:

  • HGV Class One licence.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HGV Class One driver.
  • In-date CPC and Digi Tacho.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence, with no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes.
  • A good level of physical fitness, as the job involves working at height and can be exerting.

About the Role:

This is a tramping role that involves working away from home for 4 nights a week. You will be responsible for transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK, using the latest generation of transporter equipment. You will also be responsible for loading and securing products for transport, completing inspection and delivery documentation, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
