We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Revenue Accountant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a specialist in revenue accounting, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the housing sector.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with non-finance stakeholders to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Prepare and monitor monthly budget reports to ensure accurate financial forecasting.
- Provide expert financial advice and produce high-quality financial and management reports.
- Manage grant claims and statistical returns to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and provide financial guidance as needed.
- Authorise reports for financial implications and take ownership of revenue accounting aspects.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience in Housing Revenue, preferably in a local government or housing provider organisation.
- Full CCAB qualification or equivalent experience in housing revenue.
- Excellent business partnering skills and ability to build strong relationships with non-finance staff and leadership teams.
We offer a competitive salary band of £42-48k, excellent additional benefits, and a good holiday entitlement. You will also have the opportunity to work from home with a high element of flexibility, and our modern offices are easily accessible.
