Role Overview: As a Financial Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing expenditures and identifying cost-effective strategies to address inefficiencies. Your expertise will be crucial in utilizing our cost accounting systems to generate detailed expense, budget, and supply chain reports for management review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with essential stakeholders to assess product manufacturing costs and develop standardized product costings.
- Evaluate product profitability and implement strategies for cost efficiency to enhance margins and overall profitability.
- Partner with the Commercial Team to provide necessary information, reconciliations, and cost analyses to support business operations.
- Manage and refine manufacturing product cost models to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Produce and enhance costings, bills of materials, and product pricing through effective communication with manufacturing and sales teams.
- Establish and maintain weekly production reports and variance reporting to track performance.
- Conduct margin analysis for both manufactured and procured products.
- Oversee stock valuation processes and review for potential obsolescence.
- Work closely with R&D, Sales, Operations, and Product Management teams to drive business profitability for both existing and new products.
- Lead ad hoc finance projects and business partnering initiatives for various teams.
- Take ownership of the inventory process from start to finish, including the annual cost roll process.
- Perform reconciliations for stock and products associated with customers and suppliers.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and support purchase and sales ledger activities.
- Engage in various ad hoc finance projects as required.
Qualifications: CCAB Qualified Accountant / Cost Accountant / SAP S4 HANA proficiency is essential.
