Position Overview

A Mechanical Assembly Technician is sought for a reputable engineering and manufacturing organization on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in mechanical assembly and precision fitting. Proficiency in interpreting and understanding schematics is essential. Previous experience in bench assembly and fitting is required, along with the capability to construct machine sub-assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and integrate machine sub-assemblies
  • Conduct precision assembly and fitting tasks
  • Perform detailed precision fitting
  • Work to exceptionally tight tolerances
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pneumatic systems
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately
