Academic Mentor Role

About the Role:

We are seeking highly qualified and ambitious graduates to join our team as Academic Mentors in Hackney. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in guiding secondary school students towards academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in achieving academic excellence
  • Provide guidance on academic development and career progression
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

  • Hold a First-Class degree from a top 20 UK University
  • Impressive GCSEs and A-Levels (A-A*)
  • Support disciplines include Maths, Science, English, Economics, and MFL
  • One-year contract from September to July, term time only, £475 to £550 per week (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
  • Opportunity for Teacher Training
