About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric SHO to join our Staff Bank team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Paediatric SHO, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care as a Paediatric SHO, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to our trust's policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Engage with patients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their care journey.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of 6 months' experience as a Paediatric SHO in the NHS.
  • Professional registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compassion.
