We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Wharfedale House in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents with physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes, to promote independence and well-being.
  • Escort and assist residents in and around the service, at external events, and appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Support our Person-Centred approach by encouraging maximum independence and helping residents achieve their individual aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with residents and their families to meet their unique needs.
  • Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota when required.
