Job Title: Retail Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Manager to join our team at Specsavers Falkirk.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective store operations to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize sales.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to achieve their full potential and meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and control store expenses to achieve budget targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and improve customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff.
  • Monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the optics industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
