Position Overview:
The Hire Desk Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Hire Desk and Transport services, ensuring that our depot not only meets but exceeds customer expectations while driving sales growth. This role involves leading a team of Hire & Sales Coordinators and Drivers, fostering a culture of customer-centric service, and maintaining strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance the efficiency of the Hire Desk operations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, motivating staff to achieve sales targets.
- Engage with clients to promote sales growth and resolve any operational challenges.
- Monitor and report on hire activity levels, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a high-volume sales environment, ideally within the rental or transport sectors.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
