Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Midwifery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This role involves taking the lead in providing comprehensive midwifery services to mothers and infants throughout the stages of normal pregnancy, labor, and the postnatal period, operating independently without direct oversight.

As a specialist in midwifery, you will be responsible for recognizing any deviations from standard practices and coordinating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

You will deliver midwifery care to mothers and infants during pregnancy, labor, and the postnatal phase, collaborating with healthcare professionals when deviations from the norm are identified.

Key Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Midwifery Practitioner to become part of our team.

A range of working hours is available to suit your needs.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. You will work closely with other members of the Midwifery Multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care for women and their families.

Proficiency in Welsh is advantageous for this position; however, we welcome applications from both English and Welsh speakers.
