Nursery Teacher Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join our team at a Primary School in Enfield. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to a class of young students, promoting a love of learning and supporting their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom environment and ensure the safe use and storage of equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and its application in a primary school setting.
  • Recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or pre-school setting, with a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons and supporting student development.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
