About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Beckenham, United Kingdom. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen staff in delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of food to customers, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all food items are stored correctly and meet health and safety regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, with efficiency and safety.
  • Help with stock control and restocking supplies as needed, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory levels.
  • Assist with food waste management and recycling, promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
  • Support the kitchen team with any other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred) and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
