We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for applications for appointment to the newly created Ivens Fellowships, named in honour of Dr Frances Ivens, a pioneering figure in the history of the University of Liverpool.

About the Role

The University of Liverpool is seeking to appoint up to 4 Clinical Lecturers for a period of up to 4 years, with the possibility of automatic progression to a tenured Clinical Senior Lecturer/Consultant post, subject to a confirmation in appointment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research and publish in top-tier journals
  • Teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grants
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the University and partner trusts

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience in research and teaching in a higher education institution
  • Strong track record of research income and high-quality publications
  • Ability to work in a team and contribute to the development of the University's research strategy
