Role Summary:

The Purchase Ledger Assistant will report directly to a Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in processing invoices, executing BACS payment runs, and conducting supplier reconciliations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices
  • Coordinating BACS payment runs on both international and domestic fronts
  • Ensuring accurate coding of invoices
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Overseeing the finance mailbox
  • Addressing and resolving supplier queries

Requirements:

We are seeking an individual with proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Accounts Payable function. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and previous experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or Quickbooks.
