Swim Teacher Opportunity at Freedom Leisure

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Swim Teacher to join our team at Freedom Leisure, a leading leisure and cultural trust in the UK. As a Swim Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals.

Our team is passionate about teaching in local communities, and we believe it's essential to encourage children and adults of all ages and abilities to develop water confidence, water skills, and improve their swimming techniques. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Communicate with customers' parents/guardians concerning their development and advise on their progression through the programme
  • Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
Requirements:
  • Level 1 or 2 Swim Teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to work closely with customers
