Second Line Infrastructure Support Specialist

Peaple Talent is partnering with a leading technology service provider to recruit a 2nd line infrastructure support engineer with expertise in MSP and multiple client set-ups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of escalated issues from the Service Desk and work closely with the Network Infrastructure team.
- Provide 2nd line customer-facing and remote support structure.
- Assist with internal IT support, helpdesk, and incident management.
- Configure and troubleshoot PC and server systems, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
- Perform daily system checks, including backup monitoring and reporting.
- Proactively and reactively deliver technical support to clients to meet SLAs.
- Maintain and update internal client documentation and logging time and activities.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to develop knowledge of customer IT systems and how they relate to their business strategy and goals.
- Excellent commercial acumen and social skills for a client-facing role.
- A hybrid role with 2 days working from the office in Chippenham and some on-site visits to customers and clients.
