Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment.
  • Execute planned and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering management to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Conduct timely repairs on conveyors and automated systems.
  • Maintain an organized Tool & Storage Room with an updated inventory.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly workspace to promote a healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a maintenance technician in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food manufacturing setting.
  • Proven electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repair, and maintenance skills (including relays, sensors, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems).
  • Familiarity with electrical systems (PLC's, control panels, and testing) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Relevant electrical/mechanical certifications (City & Guilds 1-3, NVQ 1-3, 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
  • A willingness to learn and collaborate with fellow engineers to enhance knowledge sharing.
