Job Summary:

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Senior Civil Structural Designer on behalf of our client for a contract position on a chemical site. The expected duration is 3-6 months, with a 40-hour workweek and possible overtime. Hybrid working is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design work for a project involving the removal and reinstallation of a structure on site.
  • Produce deliverables and prepare a checking package for a third-party review.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and E3D primary software for design and modeling.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the industry with a strong understanding of complex structural design projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and E3D Design software.
  • Ability to analyze information from reports and Statements of Work (SoW's) and understand what is needed to be produced.
  • Experience with projects and design in the heavy engineering industry, including Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Energy, etc.
