About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiologist Assistant to join our Paediatric Respiratory Physiology team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality lung function and sleep service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of a quality-assured lung function testing service, including spirometry, gas transfer, and lung volume measurements.
  • Support the setup and return of home sleep monitoring equipment, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
  • Download and analyze sleep studies, preparing reports under the supervision of a qualified Physiologist.
  • Contribute to the delivery of home spirometry services, working closely with patients and healthcare professionals.

Person Specification

  • 2 Science 'A' levels or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience of performing quality-assured spirometry, gas transfer, and lung volume measurements.
  • Experience of setting up sleep studies and downloading data.
