Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS Class Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS Class teacher to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in West Norwood, London.

About the Role:
  • Support Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students in their learning and development
  • Work closely with the heads of school to plan learning activities and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Establish a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for all children
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and track student progress, using this information to inform planning and adapt teaching approaches as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, and maintain regular contact to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice, plan and deliver cross-curricular projects, and support each other's professional development
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching as an Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS Class teacher
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, and experience of planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences that meet its requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage and inspire young children
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
