We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at SES Security in Corby, Northamptonshire. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safe and secure environments for our clients' premises, ensuring excellent verbal and written communications, presenting a smart appearance at all times, and providing outstanding customer service as a valued ambassador for SES Security and the client of the premises you are assigned to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively control access to the client's premises, ensuring only authorised visitors and staff are permitted.
  • Deal with all callers and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular security patrols and inspections of the premises, surveillance equipment, and alarm monitoring systems, ensuring all issues are reported and addressed.
  • Submit detailed reports regarding health and safety and crime issues to the relevant persons, either verbally or in report form as required.
  • Carry out routine search procedures in a sensitive manner, including vehicles, buildings, and persons as authorised.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of daily occurrences, incidents, visitors, and key registers.
  • Effectively manage site-based incidents and safety concerns, ensuring all matters are addressed and escalated according to onsite assignment instructions.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA licence (SG or DS)
  • Previous experience working in a security capacity
