Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Tamworth. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and ensuring that all students receive the guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate findings with the teaching staff.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a productive learning environment.
  • Prepare learning materials and support the teaching staff in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Holding a NVQ level 2 or higher is required.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous but not required.
