Technical Engineering Manager - Embedded Linux

Canonical is in search of a Technical Engineering Manager who is enthusiastic about open-source technologies, Linux environments, containerization, security protocols, and enhancing developer experiences to transform the embedded Linux landscape. This position entails overseeing a team dedicated to designing and deploying Linux system software across various CPU architectures for applications in IoT, automotive, and aviation sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation coupled with effective management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of engineers through effective hiring, coaching, and mentoring strategies.
  • Actively contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Provide technical solutions that align with business requirements.
