Freight Management Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our dynamic team at GRS Group. This position is essential for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to our growth.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Transport Team at GRS Group is looking for a dedicated professional to handle both customer data management and transport administration tasks. The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with the Transport Teams, ensuring that all data reports are accurate and that transport requirements are properly recorded in various internal and external customer systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position plays a vital role within GRS Group, with key duties including:
- Collaborating with the Operations Coordinator to maintain precise data in Customer Contract systems.
- Assisting the Ticket Administration Team and Transport Coordinators in resolving customer queries that affect billing.
- Working closely with Transport Coordinators to meet customer deadlines for material deliveries.
- Reporting any discrepancies found in the Contract Portals to management.
- Monitoring delivered volumes across contracts and documenting any variances with detailed explanations.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes.
- Coordinating with Transport Administration Teams to track and document haulier vehicle speeds, designated delivery routes, and waiting times on a daily basis.
- Participating in weekly review meetings with the Transport Manager.
